Internet number resource which include Internet addresses (IPv4/IPv6), Autonomous system number (ASN) is critical parameter for Internet operations. In Vietnam, Internet number resource is national information resource. IP/ASN number is concentratively managed by Vietnamese Government (Ministry of Information and Communications -MIC) as a method to manage and supervise Internet operations to ensure the stability of Internet in Vietnam.
Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) was delegated by MIC to carry out the functions of managing, allocating, supervising and promoting the use of Internet resources in Vietnam.
